- Born in Varese - Italy in 1949, married with a son.
- Degree in Physics, University of Milan with the highest marks “summa cum laude“. From 1974 to 1977, he was involved in research, at the Institute of Cybernetics, in the field of parallel computing, with same papers being published.
- From 1970 to 1976, he was employed at Philips working in project activities concerning TV applications circuitry, ultrasonic equipments and, there after, he assumed the responsibility of a Quality Assurance Team for both design and production areas.
- From 1976 to 2000, he worked at Honeywell Information Systems Italia (witch became later on - in 1987/1989 period - Bull Italia), managing a worldwide corporate transaction. Since 1981, with an executive role, he has been involved in various activities in the Industrial Area. Then, starting 1987, he worked in Marketing & Sales and System Integration areas, covering different assignments simultaneously.
- From 1976 to 1986, he was active in the Industrial Operation (specifically in the Engineering Development area) with responsibilities for Software and Hardware Systems Design, Planning and Quality Assurance. In the latest 5 year's period he became responsible for Printer's Engineering Development (Compuprint brand) coordinating about 120 technicians. He was also responsible of the acquisition of products from Japanese Companies.
- From 1987 to 1996, he had several Marketing Accountability: Strategic Marketing Director in Sopasin (a Honeywell company involved in acquisition or equity participations in other companies), Operational Marketing Director for a direct and indirect Sales Division, Product Marketing & Marketing Communication Director for the entire Company with, in addition, responsibilities for Sales Model definition and Change Management. In this period same papers have been published.
- From 1993 to 1995, he was responsible of a Direct Sales Organization (Lombardia region in private markets and Italy for medium range private users), including sales through catalog.
- From 2000 to 2003, he worked in the Group Mekfin/FINMEK (Italian industrial group active in the ICT sector of Components for Automotive, Energy and Contract Manufacturing) where he was responsible for Marketing, Business Management and Development. Moreover he was responsible to manage the business with Enel, acquiring a significant role in the nascent, large and innovative "Telegestione" project of Electric Power Distribution. He also coordinated the acquisition of three Business Units from ABB Group, active in the energy sector.
- In 1997, he was appointed as Director of System Integration Division (about 800 people).
- From 1998 to 2000, he was responsible for Company's M&A (including outsourcing, spin-off and acquisitions).
- From 1994 to 1998, he also became President of Operations/A.D. of Software & Services Companies belonging to Honeywell; member of the Technical Committee of SMAU; board member of ADICO, ASSINFORM, SOPASIN, as well as member of the Executive Committee of Bull Italy.
- In the period Honeywell/Bull, he attended to the 38th PSAD - ISTUD training course (1982), and was also involved in numerous courses and conferences in Italy and abroad (mainly USA and France).

- In 2004, he was Co-Founder of Blupeter SpA, a management consulting Company, today part of Efeso Consulting.
- Currently he has a consultancy role in Efeso Consulting and coordinates a Community, born in 2013, named "Gruppo del Fare".
- He has contributed to the development of documents related to the History of Information Technology in Italy.

- Nato a Varese nel 1949, coniugato con un figlio.
- Laureato in Fisica presso l’Università Statale di Milano con il massimo dei voti e lode dove, dal 1974 al 1977, si è interessato di ricerca presso l’Istituto di Cibernetica nel campo della computazione parallela pubblicando alcuni lavori.
- Dal 1970 al 1976, presso la Philips ha fatto attività di progetto di circuiti per applicazioni TV ed apparecchi ad ultrasuoni e poi di Quality Assurance di progetto e produzione e coordinamento dell’ intero Gruppo di QA.
- Dal 1976 al 2000, ha lavorato in Honeywell Information Systems Italia poi diventata (nel 1987 /1989) Bull Italia per una operazione societaria mondiale, ricoprendo dal 1981 ruoli di dirigente in diverse attività prima nel Settore Industriale e poi, dal 1987, nel Settore Marketing Vendite e System Integration anche ricoprendo più incarichi contemporaneamente.
- Dal 1976 al 1986 nel Settore Industriale in particolare nell’ Ingegneria si e’ occupato di progettazione SW ed HW di sistemi, di pianificazione, di Quality Assurance e negli ultimi 5 anni è stato Responsabile dell’Ingegneria delle stampanti di circa 120 persone (marchio Compuprint) occupandosi anche di acquisizione di prodotti dal Giappone.
- Dal 1987 al 1996, ha avuto diverse Responsabilità Marketing. Marketing Strategico di Sopasin (Finanziaria di Honeywell per acquisizione di Società o partecipazioni societarie), Marketing Operativo di una Divisione Vendite dirette ed indirette, Marketing di prodotto, di servizi e Marketing Communication dell’intera Azienda e coordinatore per la definizione del Sales Model e del Change Management. In questo periodo e’ stato autore di diversi articoli e presentazioni ad eventi.
- Dal 1993 al 1995, è stato Responsabile Organizzazioni di Vendita sia diretta (Industria Lombardia e Italia media utenza) che su catalogo.
- Dal 1995 al 1996, è stato Responsabile Acquisti , Logistica e Qualità dell’ Azienda..
- Nel 1997, è stato Responsabile Divisione System Integration (circa 800 persone).
- Dal 1998 al 2000, è stato responsabile M&A dell’Azienda (outsourcing, esternalizzazione rami di azienda, acquisizioni).
- Dal 1994 al 1998, ha anche ricoperto il ruolo di Presidente Operativo / A.D. di Società di SW e Servizi partecipate di Bull Italia e di membro del comitato tecnico di SMAU, ed è stato nel CdA di ADICO, ASSINFORM, SOPASIN oltre che nel Comitato di Direzione di Bull Italia.
- Nel periodo Honeywell / Bull ha partecipato al 38° corso PSAD all’ISTUD (1982) ad a numerosi corsi e congressi in Italia e all’ Estero (soprattutto USA e Francia).
- Dal 2000 al 2003, ha operato nel Gruppo MEKFIN / FINMEK (Gruppo Industriale Italiano attivo nel settore dell’ICT della Componentistica per Automotive, dell’Energia e del Contract Manufacturing) dove è stato responsabile del Marketing e dello Sviluppo e gestione del Business verso Enel con un significativo ruolo nell’allora nascente grande ed innovativo progetto di Telegestione della Distribuzione dell’Energia elettrica. Ha coordinato l’acquisizione di tre rami di azienda nel settore energia dal Gruppo ABB.
- Dal 2003, è stato socio di ID TECHNOLOGY Società di SW e servizi specializzata nel Content e Knowledge Management e dal 2005 di INNOSENSE - Consulting, Innovation Agent.
- Dal 2005 al 2006, è stato membro del Comitato Scientifico della Fondazione Italiana Nuove Comunicazioni
- Nel 2004, è stato Socio Fondatore di Blupeter SpA, Società di Consulenza Direzionale, oggi in Efeso Consulting.
- Attualmente è consulente Efeso ed animatore del Gruppo del Fare, Community creata nel 2013.
- Ha contributo alla redazione di documenti sulla Storia dell’Information Technology in Italia.
